The Newcomers Club of Johnson City, TN is non-profit and non-discriminatory. Its purpose is to provide a means for NEW RESIDENTS to Johnson City and the outlying communities to meet new friends, engage in fun activities and become better acquainted with their community through social and educational activities. The club serves the area community through charitable and sociological means by promoting and supporting service and civic projects. Several fundraisers are held throughout the year with all monies donated to local charities.
As quoted in our Newcomers Club Creed, our goal is to "form enduring friendships".

Activities are available to Newcomer members. General information is provided here. Some groups meet in the same location each week or month, others rotate among members' host homes. Members are mailed a newsletter each month for current information.

Book Club 1:30 PM the second Monday of each month (except July for summer break)
Bowling 9:45 AM Mondays year around (except holidays) at Holiday Lanes

Canasta 12:15 PM on the first Friday and 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of each month
Chat & Play 10:00 AM on the second Thursday
Couples Nighttime Games 7:00 PM on the third Saturday of each month

Quilting Club meets on the second Friday of each month. Quilters of all experience levels are welcome.
